We both grew up in the same hometown but didn’t actually meet until college. I was friends with Jake’s little sister in high school (and then became college roommates!), but Jake and I hadn’t crossed paths yet, as he had already moved out by then. As he was finishing his last semester in Idaho, his sister actually set us up! From the moment we met, it just felt right. We clicked instantly, sharing similar interests and the desire to raise a family with faith in Christ. Our first date was in December, and on Valentine's day he said "I love you". We were engaged by May and married that August. It was a whirlwind, and the best decision we ever made.
Four years later, we’re loving life with our two kids, taking them camping and to the farm Jake grew up on. We are BIG fans of country music and are passionate about our faith. That’s our story and we cannot wait to hear yours. In the meantime, here are some more tidbits about each of us!
